Hello my name is Sandeep and I’m a travel planner. and here’s I am sharing you my experience about delhi to Manali trip. here i’m describing how I completed the journey and what my experience was like. So, let’s dive into this exciting journey.
First, I started my trip from Delhi and went to Majnu ka Tila, where you can catch a bus. We took a bus from there, which operates from around 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM, with fares ranging between ₹1000 and ₹2500. Here, you can find various types of buses, from regular to semi-sleeper and sleeper buses. However, sleeper buses are not commonly available for the Manali route. If you start your journey from here, you’ll notice that the bus will begin at Majnu ka Tila and travel through Murthal, Kurukshetra, and Kullu before reaching Manali.
On the way, our bus made several stops, such as for dinner in Kurukshetra, where the food was delicious but quite expensive. If you’re on a budget trip, you might want to bring your own dinner, as dining out in restaurants can be costly. For instance, a dinner at a restaurant could cost around ₹400 to ₹500 per person, depending on your choices.
After traveling through the night, we arrived early in the morning to find the weather in Manali to be very beautiful with mild sunshine. By 8:00 AM, we had reached Manali, and we had already booked a hotel in advance. You can find many of hotels in the range of ₹1500 to ₹2000, which typically include breakfast and dinner. The food at these hotels is quite good.
Manali’s chilly mornings, fresh mountain air, and high peaks were truly amazing. From the moment we start Trip from Delhi to manali by volvo bus, I felt excited about every part of the journey. The drive was beautiful, with green fields, lovely rivers, and stunning scenery all around, making the trip even more special
There are many places to visit in Manali, and we began exploring on the second day since we were quite tired from the first day’s journey.
We spent three days here, and I’ll briefly describe each day:
First Day: We rested and took a light walk, then had dinner and went to bed.
Second Day: We had breakfast at the hotel and set out to explore local Manali. We first visited the Hadimba Devi Temple, then the Monastery, Mall Road, Van Vihar, and Club House. The day went by quickly, and we were tired. We did some shopping on Mall Road, had lunch there, and returned to the hotel. We rested, and dinner was provided by the hotel, which was quite good.
Third Day: We visited Solang Valley, where we saw a lot of snow and white landscapes. There were many people doing activities like paragliding and skiing, but we didn’t participate in any activities. Instead, we took videos to remember our trip. On the way back, we stopped at Vashisht Village, which is the starting point for trekking to Jogini Waterfall. The roads are narrow and risky, so it’s best to use a local guide if you’re new. It’s also a good idea to book a package through a travel agency, as they arrange everything for you. We planned to go to Rohtang Pass, but it was closed, so we visited hamta Pass instead. After a full day of activities, we returned and enjoyed our Manali trip.
I’ll describe both the good and bad experiences in the next blog. If you liked this blog, let me know in the comments or ask any questions.
